Listening in from another hemisphere
An international listener from Southern Africa, reached out to us. He found us online whilst learning Turkish, and realized that our station was a Christian radio station, because of the songs that he heard. He expressed his concerns for the safety of Turkish women, as he had learnt that in Islam corporal punishment of women is condoned, and he had seen how violence towards women was portrayed in Turkish films and television series.
