Finding Freedom In Captivity

“Gonca” accepted Christ as her Savior many years ago, but many things in life did not go as
she thought they would. She said that she did not live very wisely, probably due to her age
and had seemingly fallen away from the faith. Then her life got very bad and she ended up
in place she could not get free from. She never denied Jesus, nor did she ever seek another
way, because she felt the truth was with Him. She still believes this way today even though she has been distant from the faith for about 4 years.

She felt she could not come back due to her sins. “Gonca” is thankful for a very difficult event that has happened in her life, as it has produced in her more maturity. With new understanding in life, she feels she’s able to come once again before the Lord in prayer. Through these times of prayer many things in her life have changed. However, she is in a situation that she can not get out of and no matter
what she does this situation is one she cannot change. She is waiting before the Lord with prayer,
and fasting hoping to hear from Him.

During this time of waiting on the Lord “Gonca” began to watch Petra’s YouTube videos all the time. She thanked the team for their effort and shared that she is being fed by this channel. She asked the team to pray for her, as well as for some assistance. After few days of being in contact with her, Petra’s Head of Social Media Department decided to visit “Gonca” in her city. “Gonca” was able to pour her heart out and our team was able to build a personal relationship with her. Our Father has His arms wide open to all those who return to Him.

“Gonca” is now starting to realize the power of the blood of Christ and that only He can wash her clean and take her out of the situation she is in. It has now been almost 3 months, and our
team continues to pray for her and be family to her. Now she is pursuing to know the Lord
more and completely give her life to her creator. We truly thank the Lord for guiding sister "“Gonca” through His Holy Spirit.
