Answers through dialogue

“Hello. I feel so lucky to have found you. I think you can answer my questions about Christianity. I stumbled onto some Christian hymns in the past. It was purely coincidental but I have loved their message of hope for almost 8 years.” a woman wrote in a message on Petra Media Group’s Facebook.

“ When I listen to them, it revokes many memories and I feel close to Turkey again even though I am studying abroad and listen to you online. I am currently researching my family’s past and we do have some Christians in our family tree. It has increased my curiosity to learn more about Christianity. I did not have the courage to investigate Christianity and the Bible until now.”

Petra followed up on the message, answering the woman’s questions and shared the testimony of one of the staff members.

Later on the woman replied. “It's really comforting to talk to someone in my own language, thank you very much. For now, I have found some very interesting things. I am really searching for the light. Thank you for helping me find a trail of evidence. Christianity helps answers some of my restless questions.”

Petra kept in contact with the woman and continued to answer her questions, share scripture, and encourage her.
