A blessing to soldiers

A believing brother of ours is doing his military service in the mountains just outside of Samsun.  Even though it is outside of Samsun, he can get a signal. 

While doing your military service it is forbidden to use smart phones or internet, even to watch TV.  They can only use the old cell phones and the one he has can play radio stations.  This is how he listens to us.  He said “To have SamFM [one of Petra Media Group’s broadcasts] a place that has no Bible, where there are no other believers, and no TV is a huge blessing. I sometimes have a chance to share with fellow soldiers about my faith and then tell them about SamFM. I have no Bible to give them, nor would I be allowed to give them a Bible. But at least I can tell them there is a Christian radio station that they can listen to.  The only thing that saddens my heart is that the hours that I can listen to the station there are either English programs or English songs.  I wish that more Turkish worship songs could be played early in the morning so I could hear them and start my day our that way.  Unfortunately I do not understand English.”
